I am a volunteer and board member for the food shelf since June of this year. I have been a volunteer fundraiser for many events/organizations within my state. I am disabled but that does not stop me from living,caring or assisting someone in need. Especially when their needs out weigh mine. I learned the hard way though...one time a teenager who was kicked out of his home...I let him stay with me. He stole all my rent money and medications. I did not do anything but make a report of it and it cost me to loose my home, because I believed he had a greater need for the money and I felt God would take care of me. I lost my home....but that's something else.
